Description
JOB DESCRIPTION: 
The Personal System  (PS) Business Analyst for General Western Europe (GWE) is part of the HP GWE PS organization and is responsible for the PC Unit forecasting consolidation and analysis, special pricing request analysis and for the business planning process with the countries across end-customer segments and route-to-markets.
The GWE region include: Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Baltics
He/She works with the PS Category Managers (CM) to understand, track, report and plan the PC business with the country teams to maximize HP’s performance across go-to-markets.
The PS Business Analyst needs to know the top accounts business performance by product category intimately, challenging the status quo where progress is unclear and securing there is an action plan documented to bridge any gap or to over-perform.
 The PS Business Analyst assists the Category Manager to conduct regular meetings with the counties and track actions on an on-going basis with the team as well as provides insightful business data to support strategic decisions.
 He/She supports the CM to coordinate the formulation of the GWE promotional plan with the countries, as part of the overall investment strategy.
The PS Business Analyst will gain knowledge and experience on the business management process including planning, forecasting and business control dynamics in in an international environment, across customer segments and route-to-markets.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
o   University or Bachelor’s degree; advanced Master degree or MBA graduate preferred
o   University field: Business Administration, Economics,  Finance, Engineering
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
o         Interest in the IT industry
o   Solid analytical skills and attention to detail capabilities
o   Project management skills, experienced in a previous job/internship or in the University environment
o   Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
